Microphage

The Microphage--a mysterious and contagious disease that causes people to shrink down to only a few inches tall--has suddenly spread all over the world. You are a scientist working to find a cure, knowing you could succumb to the disease yourself at any moment.

So far, your efforts have been unsuccessful. Frustrated by your lack of progress, your lab partner comes to a terrible conclusion: that in order to gain the necessary data, your shrunken test subjects will have to be killed. She insists that the lives of those that have shrunk are already over, and that a vaccine needs to be developed by any means necessary.

Horrified, you tell her that it would be inhumane, but your argument is cut off by a sudden dizziness and the feeling of falling...

When you wake up, you find yourself staring up at a massive world, dominated by the towering figure of your former colleague. She has full control over the lab now, and all you can do is obey and observe her cruel experiments, or else you'll be taking part in them yourself.
